SITREP 20JAN2019: Big Ass Fight Campaign Intel

Intelligence officers have discovered the China has been building units for the Russian Military. They have used the last two years to build up RU force strength. With this we are experiencing a larger number of air defenses in the Nordic Theater of Operation (NTO) and the Caucasus Theater of Operation (CTO). We are also fully expecting larger force numbers for RU air force. 

CTO Update: 67VFS JESTERS attacked a Field HQ near Sochi-Adler. This strike has caused the entire Russian Integrated Air Defense Network codename CZAR to become active. AGM-88 HARMS have been delivered to the Stennis and Gudauta Airbase for use on the F/A-18C’s. Russian Aircraft Carrier IVAN is on the move towards Sochi and T-90 tank columns have been spotted coming down the coast from Anapa. Below is the known CZAR network. SA-10 locations are unknown at this moment, and more threats are surely around ANAPA and MOZDOK.

There are four zones in the region, each zone has a command center and potential nodes. The Sochi command center was destroyed in a strike the other night. We are currently only seeing the front line defenses but believe that each node and center will be protected by a range of threats.

South China Sea Update: The USS Liberty destroyer and USS Jared missile sub arrived at the Paracel Islands. A small patrol boat from the Liberty was captured by Chinese navy. Despite this Company 2 was able to rendezvous with a seal team and equip mini subs to attempt a rescue of the sailors from a Chinese HQ. Prior to the launch of the rescue operation, China announced that they had executed the sailors. Company 2 then proceeded to lase targets for cruise missile strikes from the Liberty and Jared. After the HQ was hit Company 2 landed ashore to try and recover any bodies or intel. The MIA sailors were not located, but CO2 discovered intel that China wanted to capture the USS Liberty and invade Taiwan and Wake Island. In the chaos of the attack on the HQ, the Liberty was attacked and captured and the Jared was destroyed. Company 2’s location is now unknown, but we believe they have retreated back to the larger island. The USS Freedom Carrier Group is on station in the Taiwan straight and is at high alert. The USS Francis J Underwood LHD-9 is currently docked at Wake Island. It had been stationed there loading Company 2 assets.  

NTO Update: Multiple SA-10’s have been discovered near the FLOT and RU force strength is greater than we anticipated.
