SITREP 16JUN2017: Day 2 closes in Korea | Carl Vinson moved | New Storm system approaches

Day 2 comes to a close with 9 missions completed between VFA-103 and the 669VFS. CVN70 Carl Vinson has been repositioned to the west coast near Kunsan Air Force Base. This transition allows the carrier to launch and recover aircraft quicker near the FLOT. The VMA-321 has also now transitioned to Kunsan to allow their harriers to be closer to the action. Day 3 has started and our forces are making a strong push towards Seoul!

WEATHER UPDATE:

A strong storm has approached the EAST COAST. Along with two smaller storms in North Korea, and near Kunsan. The entire weather system is pushing to the south.
