669VFS completed 10 sorties during the first day of Operation Leviathan. Although a large number of aircraft have been lost over the first day, the Sinai is clear of air defense and air superiority has been achieved. Day 2 sees a weather system heading in from the Med towards the AO. ETA is mid day.
