4 X F-16-CM-50 and 2 x F-18C headed to range to practice Mavericks.

Remarks

Good formation flying. Proper deployment of weapons. No aircraft lost. Good communication.

Lesson Learnt

  1. ACMI Doesn’t record static objects

ACMI doesn’t record any static objects so it makes marking who hit the targets. Training missions also do not produce a debrief mission summary so no way to tell who hit a target and who didn’t. In future will frag missions as Air Interdiction instead.

  1. Discipline

Long duration formation flights take a lot of discipline and need to be routinely practiced.
